Youthlife representatives were invited to speak about our work at the evening meeting of the Rotary Club in the City Hotel on Monday 13th February. We received a very warm welcome from President Sabine Le Brizoual and all the Rotary members in attendance. Our speakers, Sean and Caleb, gave members a great insight into the work of Youthlife, speaking about the value of Peer Mentoring for young people affected by bereavement and loss and describing their experiences of our Level 2 Award in Peer Mentoring Practice training programme. Rotarians were interested to hear about our partnership working with statutory and voluntary services, our recent renovation project at 23 Bishop Street and our plans for 2017. We were interested to hear about the Rotary Youth scheme, InterAct, which aims to involve increasing numbers of young people in the local Rotary Club. You can find out more about Rotary at:
